Sunflower Shadows

My favorite part is the shadow behind the vase and the vase itself (pottery barn vase!). Might need a few more details in flowers, but mostly done. These flowers were dying fast, so glad I got a painting done. Especially since I bought and paid for them at the grocery store! When its hot here in South Carolina, I do a lot more still life paintings while I wait for the weather to cool down. 11x14 Acrylic

Country Road Sunflowers

A simple subject, but it worked as a small plein air painting. This scene was only a few minutes from my house, so that was nice too! Acrylic 6x8.
